Eastman mandoline: MD615-LSB F-style. Mandolin 600 Models This fully hand-carved mandolin is handcrafted with a solid flamed maple back and sides and an aged spruce top. Upgrades include Schaller nickel plated tuners, a single-ply headstock, back binding, and 3-ply binding on top. Available in our Classic or Sunburst finish. Eastman's Rich Lacquer: To create this handsome finish, our luthiers use spirit varnish and finish with two coats of lacquer. The lacquer is then buffed back almost to the spirit varnish leaving the protection of lacquer and the luster of spirit varnish. Sunburst — shades from dark red-brown to golden-yellow.
